Tipping bucket rain gauge / HD2013, HD2013R/R1
High reliability and high precision tipping bucket rain gauge.
- Measurement resolution is available in standard 0.2mm, as well as 0.1mm and 0.5mm. - An integrated bubble level assists in accurate installation. - Corrosion-resistant materials provide excellent long-term reliability. - In the heater-equipped version, the heater automatically operates around +4°C during low environmental temperatures, snowfall, or after snowfall to eliminate residual snow and ice, enabling high-precision measurements. - Power supply voltage is DC24V (HD2013R) or DC12V (HD2013R1), with a power consumption of approximately 165W. - A collection cone connected to an aluminum cylinder directs rainwater into the measuring container. → When the specified level is reached, the accurately calibrated container rotates under its own weight to drain the rainwater. → During the rotation of the container, a normally closed reed contact opens momentarily, sending a pulse signal to the counter. → Rainfall is measured based on the number of times the container rotates and empties. - The number of pulse signals can be detected and recorded by data loggers or pulse counters like the HD2013-DB. - By combining with the wireless data logger HD33 series, which has a built-in communication modem, measurement data can be directly uploaded to the cloud, allowing for monitoring of rainfall information.
